About
the Malta Business and Professional Association
Growth
At monthly MBPA events, members have the opportunity
to connect with other Malta business leaders, and
work together to promote and advance the growth
of the Malta area. MBPA representatives attend
Malta town meetings at which they offer valuable
input. We work within the democratic process to
bring about planned growth, responsible government
and quality living in Malta and the Village of
Round Lake. We also work with each other, providing
business support, advice, and networking opportunities.
Innovation
The MBPA encourages innovation on behalf of all our
members as well as prospective members. The MBPA
helps attract top flight resources to the Malta
community, be they human or technical, to help
ensure business are prepared to compete locally,
regionally, nationally, and globally. The presence
of Global Foundries in the Luther Forest Tech Park
tremendously increases the profile of Malta and
the MBPA is committed to leveraging that profile
to benefit its members.
Community
The MPBA is an active part of the Malta community;
we work with the Town of Malta and the Village
of Round Lake, Chambers of Commerce, service clubs,
fire and ambulance corps, and other community service
organizations. We have been directly involved with
the Pride in Malta Beautification Program, Welcome
to Malta signs, Malta Community Days, meet the
candidates events, and many other community-focused
events.
